An Alford woman was arrested last week after she allegedly broke into an ambulance while she was under the influence of methamphetamine.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says on January 8, a woman was seen walking along Park Avenue, taking her clothes off and barking at the street. Deputies located the woman, later identified as 23-year-old Devon Toole, sitting in a car that she had broken into.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that Toole had also broken into a Jackson County Fire and Rescue ambulance that was parked at the station. JCSO says she had activated the emergency lights and stolen items from inside.

According to the sheriff’s office, Toole was disoriented and confused, and later admitted to being high on meth.

Toole was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility on a charge of burglary of a conveyance.
