Man arrested after ambulance stolen from bus station in downtown Houston

HOUSTON – A man is behind bars after police say he stole ambulance in downtown Houston.

Police said Tony Miles jumped in the ambulance at the Greyhound bus station in the 2100 block of Main Street around 10:15 a.m. Friday. A medical crew was inside the station attending to a patient at the time.

Miles fled down West Gray Street before crashing into a moving truck about 10 minutes later.

Miles, 29, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Several employees of 3 Men Movers were taken to the hospital after the accident. There is no word on their conditions.
