4/07/18 Horry County, SC Fire Rescue Ambulance stolen from the Waccamaw Hospital – Ambulance found later abandoned

Saturday evening an Horry County Rescue medic unit was stolen from the emergency room at Waccamaw Hospital.

According to the HCFR Twitter page, no patients or members were in the unit when the incident happened.

The medic unit was recovered and taken out of service to be cleared by maintenance.

The unit has been replaced by reserve.

The tweet says the stolen medic unit case is now in the hands of police.
