Officials say an ambulance stolen from a Birmingham Fire Station Saturday afternoon has been recovered.
“The rescue unit was found on a dead-end road that intersects 44 Terrace Nth and Cheek Rd,” said Fire Chief Hicks. This was around 5:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
The ambulance went missing around noon earlier in the day.
Chief Hicks said it was stolen from the garage area and no one saw who did it.
Birmingham Police Department assisted with the search.
